Louise Creek- Lake Louise

Information

A good up hill work out, but not too steep. Some interesting ice formations in the creek. Stop and visit the dogs when you get to the 1a highway.

Trail Details
TRAILHEAD From the village go under the rail line and turn Lt at the 4-way. At the campground entrance park by the Snow covered bridge that is the start of the trail.
ROUTE Cross the bridge into the campground, follow the ski tracks around the perimeter to the NW corner where the trail heads up into the woods, you will go through an underpass and follow the creek up to the 1a highway (where the DOG SLEDS are). From there cross the road and take the trail up the left side of the creek, it will join the tramline ski trail and continue on to the lake.
EQUIPMENT Snowshoes, possibly poles.
