WILSON'S SUMMER RENTALS

We are located in the main village of Lake Louise, inside the Samson Mall.

We do not have Wilson Mountain Sports designated customer parking. There is limited car parking in the Samson Mall (where we are located). RV parking is located at the Lake Louise Ski Resort. We can provide a day parking permit for the Samson Mall when spots allow it. If travelling from a Lake Louise Hotel or The Campground we encourage you to leave your car there and walk to our location.

Yes! Bikes get booked out quickly. It is best to book bikes as far out as possible. All bike rentals need to be booked online – we do not accept phone or email reservations. E-Bikes are 16+.

Our online system has our up-to-date bike count as people book them. What we have online is all we have available.

Unfortunately not. Due to safety concerns regarding the increased traffic along the road we no longer provide this service. The smallest mountain bikes we rent out are for people 4'7" (147cm) or taller. E-Bikes are 16+.

The E-Bikes we offer are pedal assist ONLY. This means you need to pedal in order for the assist to work. Once you stop pedaling, the electric power will stop. E-Bikes are available for those who are 16+.

No. Bikes are available to be picked up during the hours of 8am – 2pm. All bikes must be returned by 5pm on the day of rental. Late fees apply after 5pm.

Yes! We encourage it. Moraine Lake is 30km round trip from our location with a 500m elevation gain. It will be challenging. Our e-bikes are not designed for the rough mountain bike trails, they are designed for road use only. You will be cycling alongside vehicles and buses.

Our technicians have over 30 years of experience. Wilson's rental bikes are new each year and rigorously maintained; they are up to the task of your cycling adventures.

Once you leave the store you are responsible for yourself. Wilson Mountain Sports does not have any way to get to Moraine Lake or Lake Louise to help. All equipment is your responsibility to get back to the store on time.

We recommend having a backpack containing the essentials – water, snacks, raincoat, gloves, and layering clothing. Mountain weather can be unpredictable and extreme! CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE MANDATORY!

We require 48hr notice for a Full Refund. We reserve the right to cancel and/or refund bookings for those who do not have basic bike handling skills or proper footwear.
